Prius model 2006 test

hi all!!

just read an new test of the Prius 2006 facelift version.
This test is done in Norway and im not sure the changes that are mentioned in the test review goes for all the world , but probably atleast europe.....

since its in norwgian il just give short list on mentioned changes (and im not saying that its all correct.)
this for the more technical changes.(the driving part) im not to sure about all the correct words for it in english, but il try explain

heres the biggest changes

changes in steering and wheelbase :different dampers, stiffer steering attachment, changes in the wheel aligment (toe-in/toe-.out).
this makes the car more stabile, stiffer in cornering , more comfy on big bumbs in the road,

changes in energycontrol (harder to empty the battery)

I like good handling cars with lots of feedback to the driver. I own an '04 Mazdaspeed (turbo) Miata, which I just took out of winter storage for some fun driving in nice weather of summer. That's my idea of great driving.

In October '05, my wife and I test drove an '05 Prius, and I have to say that the "feel" of the car was pretty limp for me, particularly the steering. But it was obviously such a practical vehicle that it made too much sense to pass by, especially with the tax credit for an '06.

We took delivery of our '06 (Seaside Pearl #3) in January, and from the moment I drove it away from the dealership, I knew that Toyota had done something very nice to the steering and the suspension. It felt sooo.. much better to me than the test-drive car.

So, now I know what they did -- and without having to read it in Swedish.
