i am dwnld'ng it and am only at 6%. its been running most of time since i started. although i only have 6% i am uploading 3-5 times faster than i am going downloading.

I'm trying to keep mine open for as long as possable. Going to try to keep it open for a week. So far it looks like only 2 people are conected to me right now and there are 2 seeders? Total speed right now according to my client is 27KBs. Mostly me. Looks like everyone just leeched away like normal. If anyone still has the file please help seed!

I'm 20KB/sec upload, 28KB/sec download, 25% done, been running 2 hours, 5 hours to go.

You might want to make sure that you have a bunch of ports open in your firewall starting at 6881 and go up to at least 6889. The bittorrent protocol "rewards" those that have more open ports and share more. Not sure if this link will help but give it a try http://compnetworking.about.com/od/bittorr...orrentports.htm

When downloading this file, I went from a period of 2KB/sec to 18 KB/sec to 28 KB/sec, typical 'reward throttling' that I've seen in the past.

I have DSL, and have 2 physical firewalls at home that I have temporarily punched holes in, and have windows firewall turned off.

EDIT: Did not know this until yesterday's WB/bittorrent announcement, but at any given moment, bittorrent p2p accounts for 40-50% of internet traffic?

It took about a a day, but the movie arrived safe and sound, thanks to theForce.

VLC on OS X handles the format.

If someone wants the movie and cannot download, PM me. I'll either send a CD or put the file on comcast.net for retrieval.

Nope, I didn't make the cut - which, as I said before, doesn't suprise me. They only filmed me for like, 25 minutes, while the other guys were filmed for hours for those three days, all for just that small segment. Still though it was a decent segment, I just need to finish watching the rest of the program.
