Yup. This is the only thing that keeps me from spending the money and time to put the "protectors" on. When I park next to other cars, I realize how few of the doors would actually strike the protectors if swung all the way out. Pretty small percentage! The BEST solution is to require everybody to have door edge guards on their own cars. If everybody had it, everybody is protected, no matter the shape/height/size of the other door. But no... leave it to me to protect everybody else's car... sigh.

That was the BEST feature of my Saturn LS- the plastic side body! Car looked new when 5 yrs old!Can't figure why it never caught on with any other makers.......
