Even though it's right up against your body, it's completely overshaddowed by the radio and tv signals that bombard you 24/7. |

Cell phones need to transmit to a base station mile(s) away, while the fob transmits to our cars couple of feet away. Power required to transmit for cell phone is much much larger. |
