Ouch.... I had an Accident

Today, my baby got smashed.... Errrr. Good thing my boyfriend does auto body, he's the only one I'd trust with my baby.
I'll post updated pics after repair work is done.

Hmmm..... I could but it's be easier to just tell ya..... it was a Hyundai Sonata.... Who hit who... still up for debate. A she said she said thing. I am off to the Police Dept today to try to sort things out.
Then I'll have the fun of dealing with the insurance company....

I dimged my driver;s dooe yesteerday...ask your boyfriend for me..what should it cost to repair your boo-boo if you had to oay...want to get a sense, so i don't get screwwed. thanks

ouch. At least you have somewhere to go. I don't even know where the good body shops are since we've taken our Toyotas to two over the years and their workmanship isn't up to MY standards. (The Camry's rear right door is slightly out of whack ever since the last incident)

Im guessing the the front end dammage to your car where did you hit her car or were is the dammage on her car? Here if you get into an accident and its over $500.00 your supposed to pull off the side of the road and report it to the police... They then sort it out, I guess its different in CT... Also if yo hit a car in the rear with your front 8-10 times the driver that rear ends the 1st car is at fault.. but there are Exceptions to this.

The damage looks like it could be knocked out as a temp fix if it causes imobility..

Well it was reported to the police, no police report, no isurance payout.

The Hyundai was hit on the rear drivers side door and rear fender. I was making a left hand turn and she flew through the intersection. I could have been a lot worst. Right now we're looking at as much as $4000 in damage to my car. I will know what the insurance Co will payout when the adjuster comes out tomorrow.

California law requires traffic accidents on a California street/highway or private property to be reported to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) within 10 days if there was an injury, death, or property damage . . . to any one person's property in excess of . . . $750”

Generally, the person making the left turn must yield the right of way to oncoming traffic, but there are exceptions to the rule.
