Fill up at a 1/2 tank! or pay $159.12

the wife has taken our '06 past the blinking LCD to a complete stand-still... coasted down a hill into a filling station, filled the car, started the motor and went on her way. Not a single problem.

As late we've been able to average our usual 49.3. All 'appears' to be normal...

That may be true, but I don't understand why somebody would deliverately run out of gas time after time. The owner's manual does say that running out of gas can cause engine damage.
