the "super secret" storage compartment under the front seat cupholders were actually design to perfectly hold one standard box of tissues (minus the actual cardboard box)... Yay Prius

Hmm... I pull the drawer out half way and it is exactly the right size for one of those small, square boxes of tissues (with the box).

A folded up wheel chair with the front facing the front of the car fits in with a couple inches to spare.

How do I know? Get a serious case of Plantar Fasciitis in both feet and you'll be using a wheel chair. Six weeks in it (ok - not 24 hours a day) and I'm on my feet most of the time. If I push it, I'm back in it for a bit.

For those that don't know it, the Plantar Fascia is that big tendon that goes from your heal to the balls of your feet. Don't let yours get inflamed and think you can just walk it off.

I've had my Prius for just over a week, and it's gotta be the coolest car I've ever had. Anyway, I'm excited to say that I've already found something that, so far, doesn't seem to have been posted. I have a Garmin GPS, which calculates MPH very accurately. It has always been right on with previous cars. HOWEVER--with the Prius, I noticed that the speed displayed by the Garmin is always exactly 1 MPH less than what the speedometer showed. My guess is that it's an unknown "safety" feature....

When Bluetooth engages, the rotary volume knob on the radio does not control the volume of the conversation. Only the volume controls on the steering wheel work.

Yeah, that must be it! I also noticed that the Garmin's speed is 1 mph lower than the Prius.

You get that in the draw under the consul?

Sorry, the draw was on my mind from the post before.

The position of the coathanger hooks on the rear grab handles are not symmetrical, i.e. the left side one is toward the front while the right side one is toward the rear. This is because the handles are identical to each other.

The seatbelt attachment point on the B-pillar is height adjustable. Squeeze the plastic case and the whole thing slides up and down. It was over a month before I noticed this...

Does the consul come on the Prius Diplomatic edition?
