UK Prius Voice Commands

Hi!
I'm about to order a UK T-Spirit Prius but I may have a problem looming with the voice recognition system!

Please can anyone in the UK tell me if the full set of the american voice commands are available in the UK model? I'm trying to say "Address.." to start to input the address as the US model can but the UK Navigation is simply refusing to accept it!

Does anyone have a list of UK commands - none of the lists for the UK seem to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've only tried a few but mine work OK, although not reliable. I sometimes have to try several times, and this is when I've been stationary. Probably worse if on the move but I don't bother to use them as I rarely use the Sat-Nav. There is a written list somewhere in the system but I've forgotten how to get it. I'll have a look tomorrow and will try "Address".

One thing I did discover is that it won't work when you mix the command with a whole sentence. For example if you say "let's go HOME now" it won't work. But if you just say "Home" it will accept it.

Try "Command List", this should give you a list of all the commands available. I will try mine tomorrow when I get home from Germany.

What I'm actually trying to find out is if it's possible to tell it to go to a particular city and a street the way that the US one can :

and then "How to input an address using voice navigation"

Can the 2006/7 (ie new) UK Prius do this??

So does the British Prius have commands not found in the U.S. Prius, such as "GO FISH AND CHIPS" or "CHEERIO" or "NEVER MIND THE BULLOCKS"?

On my car I get the list by pressing the voice command button on the steering wheel and when I am asked for a command I either say or press "help" on the screen. I am then presented with several screens of commands to toggle through.

Of course it does and while it's doing this, it also gives us crooked teeth and bad haircuts!!

To see a list you have to hit the HELP option which comes on the screen when you press the voice command in the steering wheel. You then touch the 'Command list' tab on the screen.

But this won't work if 'Voice Guidance in all modes' is switched off in he Set-up screen. (Hit the MENU key to get this)

I've just tried this again and it does work quite well (at least with the car stationary)
