I drive about 700 miles a week and was wondering what the 04 Prius are really getting on the highway. I have my 04 on order so it is not a decision maker, but I am just curious what you are getting. |

In March, when car was new, I was getting 46 MPG on the highway at around 65-75 MPH. Even at 75-80 MPH, I get over 45MPG. -Ken |

My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | While I was in Michigan, where the speed limit is 70MPH on the expressway and most drive 80, I had the cruise set at 76MPH. I think the lowest my MPG was during the whole trip was 46.2 - my best tank that was highway miles was probably 48.5 MPG at those speeds. According to john1701a, it's "better" than the 01, which he's regularly driven both the 01 and 04, so check out his site (http://john1701a.com) for more details if you'd like. HTH! -m. |
