I just noticed my 2007 model doesn't have the snowflake. I got used to seeing it on my 2004 when it was cold outside. Today it's 32 degrees and no snowflake.

I have a 2006 and have never seen the snowflake on mine either. It was about -2F here last night with a predicted high of 15F, so I would figure it would be showing if I had it. The first time I turned the lights on when I first got the car I thought the lights indicator looked sort of like a snowflake, but my 18 year old nephew (who was riding with me at the time and enjoying the technology) quickly suggested it was the light indicator. He made ME feel sort of stupid !

Snowflake is gone for the 2006+

Instead, a message pops up on the MFD whenever the outside temperature reaches down to 37F.

Annoying at night when the temperature hovers between 39 and 37, and the screen flicks on and off telling me it's dropped to 37 for every fluctuation.

I'd rather have a snowflake on the panel that turned on and off repeatedly than the whole MFD lighting up just to show me the top inch or so of screen.

I have a 2005 and live in San Diego, CA. This month is the first time I've seen the snowflake and got the warning on the MFD. It startled me the first time and I can see where it could be annoying if it was on for a long time.

2006+ only have the MFD warning. 04-05 models have both.

<_< I have been 'out & about' several times in the Dallas TX area in temperatures well below 37º - no snowflake or pop-up on the MFD in my '07 touring Edition.

I may keep my '04 forever because of the thoughtful (if annoying in North Dakota) snowflake.

I've ben looking at the snowflake for a couple months now. Just one more light on, in addition to the cruise, and both defrosters.

I don't get any type of alert on my 2007. Just the outside temp reading.
