for 2.499 gal. reg. super is 2.699 It is sooo nice to watch the big trucks pull in , the ones I see smoke alot too. and they are farmers that have cash but want to let you think they are flat busted, but then get into a 2007 quad cab dually. My heart bleeds for them,,NOT Dont get me wrong I like trucks and farmers but when they speed up and down the road and pollute the air I breathe it bothers me. Oh forgot to say they are so broke they are what is called land rich I guess acres up the wazzu (sp) I feel for the truley hard workers living day by day pay check by paychk u get the drift otherwise let gas go up to the moon..
My wife and I are one of those working stiffs well she is I am disabled and I think we are doing our part. then a friend of ours comes over just bought a new F350 (1 ton) pickup I asked why, he said why not

He is not even a farmer but has heard all the scare tactics that hybrids blow up..( shaking my head)

told him to look at price of gas and our air quality he said I'll pay whater it takes I like my big trucks..

SMART huh

oh well enough, and this was to be a short spew about .13 cents hahah
sorry

And that post is the one negative aspect I have in driving my Prius. The justifiable stereotype that people who drive Priuses laugh when gas goes up, think other people are "polluting" their air, and the utter distain for people who drive vehicles other than hybrids. That's one of the few by-products of the Prius...Smugness.

But hey, whatever floats your boat.

Just more Prius Schadenfreude.
Oh, well. It's still just a car, only better.
Maybe we should lower the limbo bar and make the green-izquierdistas walk/bike/ride a camel to work.

Well I should look at the gas prices next time I am out. I walk to work and the grocery store so it has been a wile since I had to fill my car. I know I have gone about 210 on this tank but that has been over the last 2- 2.5 weeks.

I don’t want gas prices up I like my money in my pocket.

Hey regenme go work on a farm. See if your prius can even get into the field without getting stuck. Put 1500 pounds of construction equipment in the trunk and a 1200 pound generator towed behind it see how far you get. People who have jobs that require those kind of vehicles buy them because they need them not because they want them. (although they may also like and want that vehicle but at least they use it for what it was meant for. Extra money will not make your prius haul tons of equipment or drive over rough terrain.

Count yourself lucky...the Chevron station near my house has it for $3.25 a gallon. The Arco station on the other corner was going for around $3.13. Sigh. I guess that's part of the price we pay for living in Paradise.

Gas is only about $2.41 here for 87. The vast majority of people here own full-size trucks and SUVs because they feel safer during the winter with 5000 lbs. of steel around them.

One of my coworkers laments his 45-mile on-way commute in his Chevy Equinox. He admits he was pressured into the sale by his girlfriend who thought it looked cool. He's racked up 8000 miles in 3 months. It's only going to get worse...

Hey IAO that would be you because u dont even read well enough to understand.
my friend who bought the f150 1 ton does not work is disabled and goes joy riding with it.
and as a matter of fact when I was a kid I grew up on a farm and been there done that.
can you say that. I think not.

now if you are going joy riding in your smoking polluting pick up and lets add to it a bit smoke a cig or chew tobbaco and spit in front of me Iwould call you out on it, The world is not your to pollute, and there are rights of others you clearly do not understand.

Why did you buy a prius to save gas cause it looks cool with you in it .hahahah
have a good day

Regenme, please Google search "punctuation"

IAO, please keep it civil.

Both of you, <strike>if you don't keep it civil</strike> since you didn't keep it civil, I did it for you.

Well, summer is on the way, so gas prices are sure to rise where we live. This is tourist country, and every summer the gas prices rise faster than the national average to take advantage of tourist money. The gas prices also rise and fall on a weekly cycle: on Thursday the prices climb for the weekend tourist traffic, then fall off a bit on Monday. They claim no price fixing, but all of the stations prices climb and fall together.
