As discussed in the news forum, Toyota will be discounting the prices of Prius option packages by $600 to $2,000. That thread here:

Is there a Toyota salesperson or someone else here who knows how much the invoice price will be reduced? I assum not by the full $600 to $2,000, but instead by a proportional or less than proportional amount (i.e. the dealer could pay a good chunk of the cost of this incentive).

In the past when Toyota has had special package prices the savings have been much smaller at invoice than at MSRP.

While I can't answer your specific question I can tell you I bought a 2007 Option Package 6 yesterday for $26K..... which was ~$3500 under MSRP. Fantastic deal.... and better than I've heard anyone else getting. Given graph showing big bump in sales with the incentives of last two months I don't suspect the major incentives will be long-lived.
