My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | My only disappointment so far (2 years): the Prius is helpless in snow or on soft ground, never mind real mud. It has Goodyear "Integrity" tires. Who can recommend all-season tires with traction? The wheels look so small -- has anyone tried larger ones? |

The change in traction is dramatic, and much quieter. The MXV4s are low rolling resistance tires, so your mileage will not suffer. There are other options, and a quick search of this site will provide hours of reading on tires. Tom |

The 5th page has a list of recommended tires. http://www.greenseal.org/resources/reports...gresistance.pdf Sizing up tires would reduce MPG. Your choice. |

My Car: 2004 Prius Package: #6 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | I also went with Triple Treads (195/60/15) and am happy with them. I also considered the Michelin X-Radial that are available exclusively at Costco. I went with TTs because reviews showed they were superior on ice and snow. |
