My Car: 2007 Prius Package: #3 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | I understand you. In 2003 traded a 1995 S600 more than fully loaded, most fabulous ride on earth. It had 50,000 miles My extended warranty was up and Mercedes dealer said I was going to need a wiring harness. Who knows if that was true. The car was expensive on brakes, tires, warranty, insurance and GAS. It cost an outrageous amount per mile. I was starting to loose sleep on what would go wrong next. I had to get a transmission just before the warranty ran out. It has jaded me on cars. I don't trust any of them out of warranty. I just got rid of a beetle just out of warranty, that was always in the shop from day one for electrical and stupid things that should not have gone wrong on a car @25,000 miles. It had a broken windshield, needed tires and brakes. I thought I had better trade while it was worth something. |

I had it paid off for almost 3 years and now I am back to having a car payment...but in the long run, it will be worth it considering maintenance on it is either under warranty or I have paid ahead on it (oil changes for the lifetime of the vehicle). I think my insurance might go down too. |

I'm getting my Prius by the end of this week. |
