What red do I have

Forgive me, I am colorblind. I have a red 05. My wife says it is more burgandy.
Any help would be appreciated.

That's the Salsa...beautiful color...my one regret in my color choice is that I got my blue instead of the Salsa.

So my 05 is not "red" or "maroon," but is in fact "Salsa Red Pearl?" Very nice. I admit, Salsa Red Pearl is a far sexier color than mere "red" would be.

I have an '06 Barcelona Red. Although "Salsa Red" sounds like it would be a bright red color, when my friend parks his '05 next to mine, it does look maroon by comparison.

Generally speaking, salsa (the food) is not very bright. :P

And personally, I like the Salsa Red Pearl better than the Barcelona Red. I would have been tempted to try for that color, except that my wife said "No red car." She was of the opinion that police tend to target red more than other colors. Maybe it's only the name, since I have never seen the two side by side, but it seemed to me that the Salsa is "better, nicer, more beautiful." For all I know, maybe they only changed the name and not the color. OTOH, they came out with the SMP in '06 and it hadn't existed before.

Other than that, my choices were Seaside Pearl and Driftwood Pearl. I got the Driftwood and am quite happy with it.

That may be true, but since I drive a hybrid car at or under the speed limit, I don't worry about it!

Barcelona and Salsa are two distinctly different colors. I have Barcelona, and I love it, but I would have "settled" for Salsa
