New car smell

I went on vacation for two weeks and had to leave my beloved Prius behind. I keep a sweatshirt in my car at all times. When I got back, I threw my sweatshirt on. It had been sitting in the car for two weeks, so needless to say, I smelled like new car. In fact a week later it still smells like new car!

Ick... I hate new-car smell (gives me a really bad headache, and just plain stinks). Fabrise the heck out of it and leave the windows open for a week, that's what I'd do.

BTW, the ferret on your avatar is darling. My uncle used to have a ferret (only animal he isn't allergic to).

I love the new car smell. The really cool thing is, my Prius, from March 29, still has it. When I was in Vegas over last weekend, the Porter putting my bags in the back said "How long have you had it, it smells a week old, great new car smell"? I was like, "awsome"!!! "I have had it since March 29" He said that it was pretty cool to have that smell for so long.

Yikes, I'd die if my car still smelled new after that long. I am going to air mine out real good when I get it. And Fabrise it.

Auto detailers use a scent that smells like new leather. Obviously the prius would have no use for it. My fiance is a detailer so he knows all the tricks

Got no new car smell. Got Newf aroma. What is the point of driving with out the whole family. Big Dawgs rule, also drool, but that’s another story!

Awww, I like Newf Aroma. Smells fuzzy. Fuzzy is good. Too bad the WA PC Club meet isn't going to be at a park, because then you could bring your Newf(s)! Post a pic of your Newf(s) and your Prius in your album! Two things you've got to love, all in one photo.

Now a leather-scented spray would be lovely. I'd take that over New-car smell any day.
