I did not hear of any refinery breakdowns, pipeline bursts or other events that would cause such an increase. Any other parts of the country seeing such a ripoff? Or are we just lucky here? |

Good thing we own a Prius....of course, some idiot decided to pull out quickly onto a street and ram into the back of ours, so we have to take it in next week to get the bumper replaced. Stuck with a rental car with lame gas mileage. ![]() |

And a refinery in Ardmore Oklahoma had some hicups too (not sure on the specifics). Those affect the entire Midwest gasoline supply region. Here in Minneapolis, it is up to 3.34 or so, when last weekend I filled up at 2.89. |

Stop in Indiana--it's always MUCH cheaper than the Chicago area. | |

I've had mine for 10 days and absolutely love it. 54.9 miles to the gallon on the first fill up and will do another fill up today..............been driving the heck out of it and can't stop cause it's so much fun!! Anyway, thank goodness for the Prius. (My other gas saver is a 2002 Honda Goldwing Touring Bike...gets 40 mpg). New member, lots of good stuff on this site. |
