Default Bad Timing

In May I ordered a Prius from Massacheusetts because it was a much shorter waiting list. I live in New York. I received a call that a Driftwood Pearl came in. I have to let the dealer know if i want it sometime tomorrow. This wasnt one of my color choices. I really wanted silver because of the grey interior, but I was willing to take it since it was a package 9. Unfortunately I've been trying to sell my 2002 Acura RSX and havent had any luck. I didnt think it would be this hard to sell the RSX. I finally have someone coming to look at it Friday, so i cant see trading it in for most likely $3,000 less. I guess i'll wait for the next Prius and hope they get another package 9 with an acceptable color soon.
I just thought i'd share my story. I've waited this long I guess a little longer won't be that bad.

I'd originally wanted a Silver, but found it rather dull. To me, the Driftwood Pearl is sort of a "champagne silver" -- more of the look I wanted in the first place.

However, Toyota is supposed to be making more Silver Prii than any other color; so factor that into your decision.

I'd say as long as you got your Prius, the timing was good
