My Car: 2008 Prius Package: B Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | The Canadian 2008 Prius e-brochure shows a Prius with rear disc brakes on the front cover. I suspect that this is not a Canadian spec car because it does not show a keyhole on the driver's door, but it's going to be interesting to see whether my car arrives with rear discs. |

Are the Canadian mpg test standards that much different than the US EPA's? Or is the Canadian "gallon" different than the US "gallon"? |

Yes, the gallons are different. The US gallon is about 3.8 litres, and the 'Canadian' Imperial gallon is closer to 4.5 litres. Not everything's bigger in Texas. | |
