Thanks for posting the video and your site Bill. Great stuff. I have added you to my page under Prius websites.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but what does the Fr. stand for? I would like to give you a title if you have one.

Thanks,

Jeff

it MIGHT stand for 'freaky' but in reality i believe from prior postings that fr bill is 'father bill', a religious sort of guy

Yes, it's true. We have representatives from many different professions and pursuits on this board including a bonified Roman Catholic Priust - er, Priest

Motorweek's long term test page is at http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/longterm/

The Prius entry has not yet been updated, however.

I like the last sentence of the non-updated page . . . “ Now we just need more of them.”
Sums it up nicely.

Great videos, Bill. Thanks for those. One small nit: the guy on the History Channel says, right at the end, that with regen braking "you don't lose any of that energy." We know, of course, that a chunk of that energy is indeed lost to conversion inefficiency, but at least he got the general concept in there.

Hi Jeff, Thanks for the addition to your page. I have been a bit busy the past couple of days. You see, Fr. = Father which is my honorary title as a Roman Catholic Priest. My liscence plate(if it ever gets here) is Priust 1. My vocation and vehicle rolled into one expression.

Sounds to me more like "Catholic priest who drives a Prius."

Credo en unum automobileum.
