You know you're the market leader in the segment when competitors name your product.
Thankyou Honda for recognising Prius as the market leader.
Did anyone hear or see the words Honda or Civic in the Prius yes ad?
I find yes a more positive word than no.

The purest form of flattery is imitation, right? Honda proves it over and over again.

Oh. I thought it was "the purest form of flatulence was imitation". I guess I've been
trying to prove the wrong thing over and over again. Nertz.

Thanks Tideland for sharing. I'd rather drive a cheese than have a poorly engineered car. Has anyone seen where they placed the battery?

Honda did get it right in the end. Their design is backwards!

I have seen that ad quite a few times on TV.

At the end it says "See your Northern California Honda Dealers" - Is this commercial being shown on TV in other areas of the country?

If Honda really wished to be truthful in their advertisement, they should have added the following disclaimer:

"Toyota quickly burnt through their tax rebate quota due to the high sales volume of their extremely popular Prius.
We found it nearly impossible to compete head to head with the Prius.
Have we mentioned the $2,100 tax credit?

In all reviews, reports, commentary that feature the Prius, I have never heard them mention any other car. Yet for every other hybrid, they always mention the Prius. Nice to know that we own the benchmark that everyone else is trying to beat.

Sorry, Honda. Actually, I was going to buy an Insight, but you stopped making it so I couldn't, which is why I happily drive a Prius today.

SteveO haven't you heard? NO ONE WANTS an insight (so Honda says). Except you, my 2 friends who have older Insights and wish to replace them with another, and all the other people who are forced to buy them used now. Remind you of another (electric) car?

Shaped like a cheese wedge??? Why would I care if someone thinks my car is shaped like a cheese wedge? IMO, Honda is the better company; Prius is the better car.

Of course, my Xebra has them both beat.
