Recorder On Line article 10-10-07

I love the Toyota Prius but a friend just sent me an article from 'Recorder On Line' which blew me away. The aricle was written by Chris Demmoro who is a staff writer from R O L. He writes that the manufacturing of a Prius is far more devastating to the environment than a Hummer??? Does anyone know about this and can anyone write back about these findings? Is the Prius a joke? Say it ain't so. please respond, king crimson

Please note, regarding the Recorder On Line article. It was in the October 10th, 2007 edition and last name is spelled Demorro.It was written on March 7th 2007. Please inform me about article and it's fact or fiction, Thanks again, Kingcrimson

This's come up once or twice before and has been repeatedly refuted.

Always interesting when someone's first post is something like this though...high ratio of trolls compared to actual Prius owners curiously enough.

seems to be the article referred to. And, yes the frequently debunked CNW article seems to be the basis. Always amazes me that they never talk about all the stuff going into the Hummer, just the Prius.
