Talking New Prius owner here

Just brought our new 08 pkg 2 Magnetic Gray home yesterday. I am sooo looking forward to better gas millage. We traded a Durango,(12mpg at best) so I know we'll be impressed from the start.
We are also in MA and so far all is great! even gets warm fast. I would get home from dropping the Kids at school b/4 the Durango gave us real heat.

I hope to learn allot here

Welcome to the club! As a fellow magnetic grey owner I'll say: nice choice on color!

I have a 2007 pkg 5 and love it. I also traded in a 12mpg beast and get 47-50mpg now without blinking an eye.

You will find this site a great source of information and assistance when needed.

Welcome Janice. You will be astonished by how much you didn’t have to give up to get the gas mileage. I still can’t believe how much stuff I can put in the Prius. After 14 months of ownership I am still being surprised by this car. I live in Indy and it was 8 degrees this morning - the 'warming up fast' is my favorite feature in the winter!

The first thing you'll learn here is that "allot" is not a word Welcome!

I'm in MA too, and there are a bunch of us here on PC, but lots more on the roads. I'll still wave if I see you out there though.

Welcome to the Magnetic Gray Club. FYI, there are at least 2 Maggie Grays in Northampton.

BTW, you've probably already been reported to the a lot/alot (and now, a lot/alot/allot) police here.

Welcome to priuschat! I'm a brand new member, myself, but am not new to Prii by any stretch of the means. I love the magnetic grey and only first saw it in San Diego in the Summer of 2006. It would be my second choice of color, or maybe even first in looking back.
