My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #6 Touring Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | I am wondering if anyone felt the need to put the stiffening plate on their Prius with their existing touring package. I have read that it helps the ones that don't have Touring, and is it beneficial to those who have? |

My Car: 2004 Prius Package: Base Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 32 | I'm not aware of any difference in the stock brace between packages. If anything, a driver who appreciates the handling improvements of the touring version might want a chassis brace even more. |

My Car: 2007 Prius Package: #6 Touring Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | I went with the TOM'S braces. Presto started with the BT Tech plate and then upgraded to the TOM'S bits. Presto's characterization of the TOM'S rear suspension brace was that it was the BT Tech plate on steroids. |
