I got it on a "end of the year deal". The window sticker said $24.749 for the package. I "presbyterian'd" them down to $22.400 and paid O.T.D. $24.320.

Is that a good deal?

I purchased it here in So. Cal at a high volume dealer. I had seen a few others at other dealerships and they were asking over 26k for the very same car.

If it is a good price and you're looking I found another dealer that will price match and I've still got the quote in writing...

Thanks to all for all of the info > great forum,

Davis
Great to hear that you got your new Prius. Congratulations on the purchase. Now that gas price is steadily on its way up, owning a Prius makes it less painful. The fun factor is always there as well. Drive safely.

Hi, a few of you were talking about driving to specific stations for gas. I follow a site called gasbuddy.com, where you can find your local gas prices in the area. It's also great for traveling cause it covers the entire U.S.

And, unlike some other folks on the forum, I have no interest in squeezing the maximum distance from a tank of gas. Getting good MPG doesn't depend on how low you run the fuel gauge.
I knew you were here somewhere. A person who understands how good fuel consumption works.

As far as a deal on a car goes, if you think you did well and you drive out in the car you want at the price you are happy with you did very well.
Would you go back and do it again when this car is due for replacement? If yes you did good. Congrats on the new wheels.

Good one John.

I got a Super White Package 5 from Dublin Toyota for 24k even (26.3k out the door). This was on 27th Dec, they still had 10+ cars sitting on the lot and were very eager to get rid of them.
