Did I get a Deal?

I recently picked up a 2008 Prius package 2. I payed $24.5 K.

Was it a good deal? Bad? Average? How did everyone else do?

That's pretty good if you are in my area (S. FL). I just got a 2008 with package 1, 5 floor mats, security system ($340 version), tinted windows, mud guards and smart key (part of pkg 1?) for $24,500 plus tax. We got it for about $800 under MSRP, which by my understanding is pretty good for a prius in my area at this time.

I paid $24,500 for mine with taxes/fees. My trade in was worth $1000 so technically the cost was $25,500. I think you did pretty good. At least I think I did good on mine

Sounds like you did good. I just got my 2008 package 2 plus vip security system and extended waranty for 22500 after everything but that includes my trade in that I got 5500 for. Good work!

Well, I actually traded in my 2003 Mitsubishi eclipse GS when I got it. (as you can see what I think is important in a car has shifted from looks and style to efficiency and low emissions). Anyway, so I got 8250 for it because it had 43000 miles on it. So I actually paid 16250. I am happy with the new car.
