engine block heater question

EBH is not available right now. Probably will be plenty to had in July! I haven't climbed under a Prius yet but would a more generic heater like I link to below work? Thanks, Jeff

What would it stick to? The block is aluminium.

Hi, I have a new in the box Toyota engine block heater part #PU140-00900. The little packet of thurmal greese is missing.If any one wants it let me know, $40.00 shipped in the US. I have Pay-Pal.
