CleanMPG reviews the ScanGauge II. - CleanMPG Forums "Another issue has to do with Fuel Cut. The ScanGauge II has no way to tell if the ICE is in Fuel Cut or if the car is at speed running at idle as you would in a NICE-On. Although the FE calculated and shown is very high under this condition (between 130 and 250 MPG depending on speed and ICE size), fuel is still shown being consumed when it is not thus causing an ever increasing error to build in." My Car: 2007 Prius Package: #5 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 1 | Here is what I've found with the SG2 with the X-gauge feature: With the new "cutoff" feature, the mpg will display 9999 when the GPH drops below the pre-set level. I set my "cut-off" level at just one number below the level it's at when the ICE is idling. The GPH will only drop below the idle usage level when the engine is spinning over when the speed is above 42 mph and you are in regen or gliding. |
