My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #5 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | My Prius is still new, and I'm still getting used to some things about it. I've finally started using multiple slots on the 6-CD player (which I understand is called a "changer" because it has that 6-disc capacity). Because of habits left over from my old car, I don't try to eject any of the CDs (regardless of how many I have in there) until I've turned off the motor. However, I don't appear to be able to eject CDs unless the motor is turned on. Is this true? If not, can someone please walk me through the steps of doing this? Thanks in advance.

If you need to eject without starting the engine, press the power button once without pushing on the brake. This will bring the electrical system online in a mode similar to ACC in a normal car.
