Recommended psi for touring model?

I've read a lot of threads on here regarding tire pressure, but since the touring model has different tires, is there an ideal pressure for it?

There is no "ideal" tp. You need to find a balance between ride, handling, and economy that you can live with. If you running a pressure under the max as printed on the tire then try increasing it to the max.

i've been satisfied with 40f, 38r for about 4 months now..these are on the bridgestone turanzas

I put 45 psi f/r on my Touring and find the car very comfortable this way.

I use 44/44 (F/R). You can feel a slightly bumpy ride on rough roads. But other wise rides great!

I've also read many of the threads related to tire pressure. Can someone please explain the reason behind setting the front tires 2psi higher than the rear tires? Does it really make a difference?

i think toyota reccomends it because there is more weight in the front, thats my guess
