Default Would this be a legal way to get rid of your SUV?

Insure it for theft. Take the car out to a high crime area. Leave the car with the keys in the ignition with the car running. Walk away.

I know two people with Envoys,they can't give them away.

people wont even steal that. the cops try it all the time to catch would-be thiefs, and they even try to sweeten the deal by leaving DVDs and junk all over the car.

You'll come back and find out that it's still there with a parking ticket on it, the engine is off, and someone siphoned all of the gas out of it.
