Exactly why I ordered my leather seats with Liqua-Gel=Dr. Scholls for the butt. I checked Prius Pro/Cons out before buying, found seats were one of the few complaints. Seems more prospective buyers would order the Liqua-Gel option. | |

I drove 2600km (1600 miles) in 36 hours including sleeping time (slept in a swag laid out in the back of the Prius) and I was fine with sheepskin seat covers. Total journey was about 6000km (3700 miles) over 10 days and just 3 night were in motels otherwise I slept in the swag, with no ill affects. |

Yes, get a cushion. Google will lead you to many styles. Folks will jump on the cushion bandwagon too |

Unfortunately I think that means you'll have to keep experimenting with different things until you find the one thing (or combination) that works for you. What works for me and my aching, sciatica stricken back and butt is one of those curved mesh lumbar seat backs that you can buy from Frye's for less than $10 or from eBags for around $20. Good luck.
