Default 2005 owners manual
Ok...I did it, I ordered a 2005 Prius. Now, for the long wait.

Does anyone here know if a 2005 owners manual is availbale online? I'd liek to read as much as I can about my soon (?) to be new car.

The only way to get it before you get the car is to buy it from Toyota.

That's incorrect. They can be purchased through the parts department at a Toyota Dealership, from some online Toyota Product sites.

Also, it's downloadable from the Toyota Technical Information Service (TIS) site for a $10 1 day subscription.

Or you cold download the 2004 PDF files which are online in a few places. I have a copy which I got from a yahoo group.

I downloaded one for the 04 pre delivery from the site and other than some organization and renaming it worked well. Go for it.

Not EXACTLY. The dealers are independant businesses. THEY would have to buy it directly from Toyota. :-) So I guess Evan's point was that you don't have to contact Toyota corporate to get one.
