Before I looked in earnest for a Prius I noticed tht the Fits had disappeared from the lot - this was probably late April / early May. The Honda dealer had one Fit the day I stopped by but it was a low-end Base model and not the Sport.
If you can find a Fit equipped the way you want I think it would be a good Prius alternative as a second car.

We have a 2001 Hyundai Elantra for DD to drive at college. For the money, you sure get alot of car and a great warranty. Trade-in value means little to us since we drive our cars for years and years.

Resale value bad.......or you allowed the dealer to "steal" your trade-in? One of the many ways a dealer makes a few extra bucks.
