Default Tires for a 2006 package #8 in Chicago

Looking for suggestions from people in the Chicago area (or a similar area in terms of weather) as to what tires they put on the Prius when they replaced the original tires.

I am at 35,000 miles on them and want to get something new on before winter.

I am open to all suggestions, but being we have a pretty good mix of rain, snow, etc in the area, I would like opinions related to those factors. I do mostly highway driving, but it's 15 miles one way to work. Other than that trips around town are at about 10% of total driving.

Thanks for any input,
Phil W.

Just bought Michelin radial X from Sam's Club. Much improved ride and performance. Have 900 miles on them with no loss in MPG. I'm happy!
