Here in the Detroit area $2.149/gallon is a common sight....a few cents savings can be gotten by the careful shoppers. Going 50 miles for about 2 bucks in my '05 makes me happy. Looking fwd. to warmer weather. What are you west coasters paying for a gallon? Others? Canada, Australia? Katmandu? Namaste, Paul |

Here in Japan average gas is 114yen per liter which around $3.35 to $3.75 a gallon. If you want fill up Prius which run you around $43 to $48 for 14liter of the gas. I drive average 400km per week and one tank which last only 2 weeks Finally weather getting warmer and km/L is gaining  I hope reach average 24km/L soon  |

Gas there was $1.899 so I filled up. Annoying thing: I'd gone 441 miles at 44.1MPG on a tank I'd filled until it still showed gas at the filler opening but didn't spit back at me, but needed 10.53 gallons of gas this time. Not sure what was up there. Hopefully not a 'fixed' pump. Got 54MPG driving home in the nice weather in 'city' traffic. Down to 47MPG today. Reason for post: gas on this side of town has started to be over $2 a gallon. Ugh...

My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | For the first time in my life I paid over $2 a gallon. And what a jump, indeed. $2.179, 11.373 gallons for a grand total of $24.78. At least I won't have to get gas again at least until April. -m. |

The price of gas here in socal is around 2.50 right now. So I am trying my darndest to get the best gas mileage I can. For one to save money, but more for bragging rights. |

My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #2 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 1 | I payed $2.19 2 days ago in MN. (Unfortunately I was filling our Jeep ($$$). That's the highest I'd ever payed, and ussually I'd wait a few days for the price to drop. But seeing as the oil/Barrel price has only gone up the last 2 months, I don't really expect gas to come back down either, so I filled. Buying gas for the Prius feels like buying a nice sandwich and drink. Buying gas for the Jeep feels like trading in my first borne. |
