I've been driving my 1997 Pontiac Trans-Am since I bought it in November of '96. Great car, I really love it (except for the gas milage!) Although I have a sports car, I've never been the "speed" or "power" demon. I bought the car because I liked it. Well - a buddy of mine bought a Prius and I just LOVED all the "toys" and such. I skeptacly decided to try one - I was worried that I wouldn't like the power difference. I went to the dealer - drove it - and LOVED it. It moves just fine for me! I've ordered my 2005 prius (I'm told it'll take 2 to 3 months - a surprise since my buddy had to wait over a year!) and am anxious to get it! Anyway - I thought you'd all like to know that the Prius has converted a Sports Car man into a Hybrid lover. Ron (aka yoda) |

I still love the car but alas like a star crossed lover I must leave it. But my wife is happy in that she was scared of the STi and it will save me $2500+ in Insurance and car payments. Repair costs are also high. I have only driven 60 miles in my new Prius but already I love the car. Blue |
