This afternoon one of our salesmen (supposed to be top Prius salesman here,we do have smarter ones ) came back in the shop and had a question. He was helping a customer who was asking a question about the Prius brakes. He ( the customer) had read on the internet that the Prius brakes are different then any other car and would last the life time of the car. He said that the info stated that after 7 mph the hydraulics were de-activated and the Prius only stopped on the regenerative braking at higher speeds. Can you believe the info some sites put out? Takes all kinds I guess,

Amazing. They usually just make up some cock-and-bull story that never fails to elicit an incredulous stare from the informed consumer. Kudos to that salesperson! |
