My Car: 2005 Prius Package: #5 Nominated 5 Times in 3 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 21 |  Prius publicity on the Daily Show Jon Stewart hosted Tom Friedman on the Daily Show tonight... They were discussing the usual energy independence issues and such when Friedman said we needed an influential person to get the movement going. The conversation went something like this: TF: And I know this is crazy, but if the President were to give up his limousine and drive an armor plated PRIUS or hybrid, that would influence people. JS: That IS crazy. Well, I imagined him riding a steer... Anyway, another bit of Prius publicity. I got 3 people asking me about my car today, must be the gas prices.

As you can tell I tend to follow this show. This time they referenced (jokingly) protesters trying to stand off with a Toyota (insert Prius pic here) Anyyway, we have allies somewhere on the Daily show Woohoo, free publicity! |
