Charlie at Gene Messer Toyota in Lubbock said they had a package 6 salsa on the truck en route. It is totally loaded, more than I had planned - with leather, the vehicle shield, and the Extra Mile package A - but all told I ended up around $785 under MSRP, and he's delivering the car to me for free. I should have it around Tuesday!  |

I'm in Temple and I've been looking like crazy for a 2004 Prius and so far everyone wants so much over what they should cost that I guess I'll be waiting till things settle down to get mine. It's nuts, cars aren't supposed to appreciate in value! |

Prii are available, some at MSRP, all over the USA, so if you're willing to drive/drive or fly/drive you can likely find one without too much snooping. Some dealers even list their inventory on eBay, and there are "For Sale" and "Dealer" sections in a couple of these Prius forums.  You really don't have to wait... unless you need or want to, or if you have a trade-in issue.GO GET 'EM |
