Hello fellow Prius family members... I am new here- and am so excited to have stubled upon this site! I love my Prius, and hope to have many happy miles with it. I had an SUV, and am adjusting well, I still have a 4x4 pickup for rough stuff.

Thanks to this site I got rid of that annoying back-up beep!! :cussing:

A couple of things . . .

You may just possibly be the youngest Remax manager . . . but you are not the youngest Prius owner on this board . . . by about 6 years or so.

I sure hope you rinsed the underside of your car with fresh water after you drove it onto a beach for your avatar picture.

Yea I took it through a car wash that sprayed the underneath... Thank you- and I dont mean youngest driver- I meant youngest OWNER of a Prius= esp a 2005 :?

I'm pretty new here as well, but this is one of the best and most knowledgeable groups of people I've found anywhere on the internet (having to do with the Prius or not) :-)

Not even close. There are several teenaged owners here, some as young as fifteen and sixteen.

Oh ok... I stand corrected. WOW- Must be nice to be 15 or 16 and be able to afford a $23k car!!! Oh wait... I had to actually buy my cars- LOL

I'm 22, just bought mine last month. 8) Sorry, I'm one of the younger ones.

However, you may be one of the younger ones who have actually paid for their own car. I don't know any 17 year old who can afford a 25K car on their own before high school graduation. The Prius was a stretch for me simply because my income isn't fantastic as a graduate student, but my husband makes enough for us to pay for the car and everything else.

Most people don't make appreciable amounts of money before age 30 it seems. I know I won't make much until age 27 or so which is when I'll finally be done here. That's why there are fewer young Prius owners.
