Yes, Ive heard you can change the MFD, blue, green grey and beige. I have a feeling the instruction manual weighs 10 lbs!

As a SOON to be owner, I have a question about the speedometer. I have seen pics on Johns website showing the speedometer in greenish and white. How do you change the color?[/b]
Hi!

I agree with Yoda, it does not seem you can change it. I just flipped through my owners manual, and it doesn't say (or imply) it can be changed...

Thanks for posting -- I find it really intersting to read how people who are used to trucks (or other large vehicles) find the Prius (both the plusses and the cons).

Glad it's mostly been plusses![/b]
Thanks for replying!

I have yet to find a negative...

Oh wait, there is ONE, but it's not her fault...

I've noticed that people are less apt to modify their position near an open gap when merging onto a highway from an off ramp. I really do think bigger vehicles take take precedence in many driving situations...

The combination meter is cold cathod flourescent. You can see the cathod wires running through the display if you look carefully.

Congrats. I am a F250 convert. It is great going from 15 mpg to 56 mpg. Not to mentino diesel is the same cost as premium around here. :cussing:

I just wish they made a memory for multiple users, HUD for basic info (and turn off the greenish display), and auto open/closing trunk. Then it would really rock.
