New To PriusChat

Hey all...my name is Dave. I'll be buying my '05 Prius next week (either Super White or Millenium Silver, haven't settled on one yet), either way I'm very excited. Trading in my '04 Civic Coupe for this. Hondas have been great for me over the years that I've owned different ones, but just wanted a change. Since Toyota redesigned the body style in '04, I fell in love with it and am finally taking the plunge. Figured I'd register and get all the info on various topics that I can before I drive her home next week. Glad I found you all on the web, I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in the coming week, and for a while afterwards. Great forum here. :mrgreen:

Both white and silver are beautiful cars. I prefer silver

Thanks all for the warm welcomes...and for the FAQ tip...I've been a member of other car forums for the past couple of years and have learned from experience already to read first, search, and if I still absolutely can't find it...then, and only then do I ask I've been reading already about the heat, sound dampening, and handling issues, and also noticed that tC wheels look really nice on the Prius, but am hesitant to do so since I want it to be as dependable as possible and get the best MPG as possible...thanks to everyone so far for all the info, this really is one of the best car forums I've been a part of, and makes me happy I'm choosing the Prius as my next car. Next week can't come soon enough. I could buy it this week, but I'm really doing my homework between a lot of dealers to find the best price, and the exact color and package that I want, so I've given myself a deadline of next Tuesday to get it. Plus I don't want to get soaked on my trade (2004 Civic EX Coupe with 3300 miles on it, so I know I'll take a hit on the price, but it shouldn't be too bad.....hopefully).
