If we do the "dance" (click), then we don't have to go to the dealer to have the passive alarm enable with the scan tool? Another question, if the alarm is armed and we used the small key in the fob to open the door (let say when the fob is out of battery), will the alarm go off? Thanks in advance! Scott |

My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Does anyone know if there is an easy way to disable the passive alarm temporarily for valet or other occassions that you do not want the car to lock while the keys are in it? Or does the car not arm if the key is in the car? ScottY...It looks like you can choose whether you want it to arm either 0, 14 or 30 secs after the last door is closed. Although I have not tried it myself so I cannot testify to the accuracy of the "dance". |

My Car: 2005 Prius Package: #3 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | According to what other "experts" on this forum said, the car will only arm the alarm but will not lock the doors.
