2003 Prius/pimped out car

Hey there,

Im new here and I just wanted to share this picture (i hope it uploads) of my girlfriends fixed up prius. She won a local contest where the winner would get his/her car fixed up with new rims, tires, lifetime paint job, speakers, two 7"x7" screens, dvd player, and tinted windows. We are trying to look for those clear euro tail lights, but sadly we cant find them.

That looks cool!
The wheels/tires are especially nice looking, but, how's the gas mileage?

when it comes to mpg with 17" wheels.... hmm... not that much of a diff. it came with 16" rims original, but i do gotta say the gps is just a little way off. not that much at all. We already made the switch to the euro white lights, also we are gonna add a 3rd screen in the middle. we do want to upgrade the dvd rom for the GPS, but from what i understand its $260 something !!!!

does anyone know where i can find the new version of the GPS dvd rom for a 2003 prius without paying sooo much from the dealer ?

it's my understanding that the 2k4 dvd works in the 2k3 for a upgrade of the software.

I'd hit the autowreckers and see if any have the 2k4-5 in totaled and see if you can buy the dvd. The first thing I'd do is find someone with a 2k4-5 and see if you can borrow the disk and try it to see if it really does work in the Classic. If all that isn't available go to a dealer and see if you can beat him down on price.

i tried that with the dealers, but no deal !! i looked on ebay and there is a new version. I asked a question to the seller to see if it works with her 2003 prius, but no answer yet.

I already have my first chip on my 05's rear bumper with only 500 miles, lol.

Hey, btw, are those Avon tyres mounted on the 17" rims? I went w/Avon 550 A/S on my 17" tirerack dot com package.
