My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Those bulbs have a blue tint on the glass of the bulb. This will actually cut your visible light down. It is impossible to fake HID without getting the real thing. I upgraded my halogens to HID in my 05 Prius Package 3 for about $500. I had a post on here about it but probably lost since the last wipeout. |

My Car: 2005 Prius Package: B Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 11 | Oh well, I just went out and bought a pair of Sylvania SilverStars. They're the 9003ST model. It took about 2 hrs to install. The hardest part is the removal of the rubber bulb cover. Here's a hint, it's NOT symmetrical like the manual depicts in the drawings. The inner ring is to one side. The right headlight is easier to do than the left (mostly cause you have to reach around the fuse box) |
