Default Inexpensive parking assist

Anybody heard about Astrodon EPS?

http://www.astrodoneps.com/technical_details.html

It looks nice (because it's hidden behind the bumper) and easy to install.

But,
(1) I don't really understand how it works
(2) Any possible radio interference with Prius systems?

I asked them if it is RF and whether it is legal for use in the US. I'll post any response.

Astrodoneps replied that the device is iso standard with world seal approval.

Given that there should be no determental interferrence with any electronics on the car.

Great!
I've ordered this kit yesterday and will post here my review /photos next weekend (I hope).

I believe that for someone who had chance to use parking assist it's a 'must have' feature. Whatever your parking skills.

Here in Europe it's a real necessity...

Whoa! Is this a new color that Toyota will be putting on the '05 Prii? Or just a new color they're using for other Toyota vehicles?

Not sure about that, but I do know it's available on the new 04 MR2 Spyder.

In Europe it's called Jade (France, Switzerland) or Sileni Green Mica (UK).
Color code 6S9. I was worried that it'll be too green and positively surprised that there is more greyish in reality.

I believe it's called Tideland in US.

It could be just light angle and contrast with the green at the background...

Wow, is that really the US Tideland?? Looks great!

I was wrong about the US Color - it's called Phantom Pearl Gray.
