Help! Problem with Coastal Auto Door Lock in German 2006 Prius

I live in Germany and have a new 2006 Prius. I bought an Auto Door Lock Kit at CoastalETech and the people in my garage installed it some days ago. The problem is: it doesn't work. Although the colors of the wires in the installation instruction and my car match perfectly, my mechanic thinks there could be differences in the function of the individual wires between US and German Prius. For example he said that in my car the black wire on the blue plug seems to be without any function. My question ist: Does anyone know the function of the wires used by the Auto Door Lock Kit (orange, purple, white on the gray and black on the blue plug) so that the mechanic can look for them in the German wiring diagram? Any other ideas?
