Question: Why do some people actually have an EV button installed next to there headlight switch lever? what does that button do? I saw what you did with the cruise control is that the same thing? or am I just confused? Thanks either way but I hope you can take the time to answer my question if you have an answer. Manny |

My Car: Package: N/A Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | The EV Button is standard on European and Japanese based prius' I believe. Makes you wonder why its not added on US vehicles...hmm interesting. You can add it as found on this website via sigma automotive, Sigma Automotive – Toyota Hybrid Prius 2004 - 2009 OEM & JDM auto accessories , but you'll have to confirm it will work on 06 and greater vehicles. some of the cool mods they have are for 04/05. sweet website though for Prius add ons!! Great VIDEO Thunder re EV Mode!! wow that was easy w/ your help!! |

I tried to put in on and i forgot to plug in after every wires installed. After that every single light was on(check engine,vsc....) So i took everything out and plug it back on, Engine run as usual accept the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT still on the dash board. Can you tell me how to reset the check engine light?or is it going to be there still? I have a friend who works at a mechanic shop and i think he can reset it for me. Thanks | |

I would love to film someone doing a lockpick 3+ install as well as an ipod mod install as well as other empowering tutorials on a 2008 touring prius. I am happy to post these on youtube. It is so much easier installing after watching you talent guys doing your thing. I am in Southern California and have my own equipment. In fact i am just releasing a film on living a better sustainable life through the practice of yoga. Yoga Movie - Home |

My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #5 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | The video helped give me the confidence to do the install myself. I completed it in about 35 minutes (tonight), including a drive around the block to be sure it was working before I completed the reassembly. I'm getting about 55 mpg on my first 600 miles (I've had the car for 14 days). The electronics have a different form factor than the one in the video. |
