BT Stiffening Plate versus Tom's Floor Strengthening Plate

Is the BT Stiffening Plate basically the same thing as Tom's Floor Strengthening Plate?

The BT plate is $165 versus Tom's Plate at $280.

Are am trying to understand if both of these products replace the same stock Prius part are are basically competitive products for the same purpose.

Check your previous posts. I believe Bill mentions that it's not the same. Tom's Floor Brace mounts closer to the front. Tom's rear brace is close, it uses 2 of the connection points of the BT/stock plate.
